Lhoist North America, formerly Chemical Lime Company, was founded in 1966 with the opening of its first quarry in Clifton, Texas. “It became a subsidiary of the Lhoist Group in 1998, which celebrated its 125th year in 2014 as a family-owned, global lime producer. While headquartered in Fort Worth, locally, the company operates a terminal in La Feria, Texas. Lhoist North America is a customer-oriented, full-service supplier of lime and mineral products to major industries including steel, building, civil engineering, glass, agriculture, paper, chemical, mining, and environmental protection.
